Dom Scala Baseball Camp Continues to Make Difference with Support from the Italian American Baseball Foundation

For decades, Dom Scala Baseball Camp has given young athletes across the tri-state area quality instruction, sportsmanship and a lasting love of baseball. Sponsored by the Italian American Baseball Foundation, the camp develops skills, confidence, teamwork and respect while creating lasting friendships and memories.

Italian American Baseball Foundation Awards Record $105,000+ in Scholarships to 24 Student-Athletes in 2026

The Italian American Baseball Foundation awarded 24 college student-athletes more than $105,000 in 2026 scholarships, its largest single-year total since launching the program in 2021. The awards bring cumulative scholarships to nearly $250,000 during IABF’s 10th anniversary year.

“Andiamo” Mini-Documentary Showcases Italian American Baseball Foundation’s Mission to Grow Baseball in Italy; will debut on CIAO USA TV

The Italian American Baseball Foundation announced “Andiamo,” a mini-documentary about its mission to expand baseball in Italy, premiering September 6 on CIAO USA TV. Produced by Emmy Award-winning executive trustee Chris R. Vaccaro, the film follows youth clinics held in Castiglione della Pescaia, Parma, and Bologna.

Italian American Baseball Foundation Leads Impactful Italian Baseball Development Trip

CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA – July 2025 – The Italian American Baseball Foundation hosted clinics and events across Italy, drawing more than 100 players and launching its first Coaches Clinic. The Francisco Cervelli IABF Academy’s U19 team won the European Pony League title and earned a place in this summer’s World Series in Texas. IABF praised the players, coaches, parents, and supporters for advancing education, motivation, and cultural expansion through baseball.

Cervelli-IABF Academy Wins U14 European Pony League Title

The Francisco Cervelli IABF Academy won the U14 Pony League European Zone 2025 in Prague, while the Under 16 won bronze in the Colt category. In addition to the team victory, the Italian team earned important individual awards: Ruben Paviotti was awarded best pitcher, while Tommaso Destro won MVP honors.
