The Italian American Baseball Foundation joined the Federation of Italian Baseball and Softball on a historic trip to Italy called Mission Classic, which was meant to provide a culturally significant experience for Italian National Team players and coaches in advance of the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

This journey was captured by Sky Sport in a four-minute piece that aired on Italian broadcast and digital media. IABF officials are seen as part of the news package.
